Speaker: dr. Christian Ochsner

Short biography: Christian Ochsner is Adjunct Professor at CERGE-EI and Research Fellow at SIAW-University of St. Gallen. Christian has published his research in The Economic Journal and the American Economic Journal: Applied Economics.

He is interested in better understanding how critical moments in history shape socio-economic trajectories and how they still matter today. His research lies at the interface of development economics, political economy and cultural economics. Her most recent research explores the role of new technologies and the origins of gender norms.
